We were able to snag a last minute late reservation for dinner and it was excellent! We chose to do the belly up option and let the kitchen feed us. For 90 it was an incredible value and we got to try so many delicious dishes! Definitely go with a group because we had 15 plates brought to the table. Emily, our server did an amazing job taking care of us, and every staff member who came to our table was knowledgeable about the dishes and made sure we knew what we were eating. My favorites were the chicken skins, Kate’s fish, pork belly, the burger and the sorbet. Honorable mentions: the dirt pudding, cauliflower, carrots and peas, and the pimento cheese!

I had the privilege to take my grandma here for a quick dinner on Good Friday, after snagging a last minute reservation. I am so glad I did. We both had such a blast. Jessie our waitress was the star of the show. She was an absolute gem and took great care of my grandmother. She's great at her job! I think they have the best fried chicken I've had. The Mole Chicken at Regards in Maine was darn close, but I think this one put it over the goalpost. My grandma never eats breading and she torn through that sucker like it was nothing. Second to that was the Fried chicken rillette, essentially a fried chicken salad. It was supreme. I've never had deep fried saltines but it's something I need to try at home because they are incredible. Finally, concluding with the Almond Joy dessert we were both thrilled. It has a variety of textures and flavors and it perfectly captures the experience of eating a premium version of an Almond joy bar. I hope to come back to do the fixed course. We were stuffed and the bill before tip only came to 93. For two people in downtown CLE with plenty to take home, I think that's more than reasonable. "Midwest Nice" means you get sat down with reasonable prices and honking plates of food and that's what I really enjoyed here. Kudos to the back and front of house for an amazing establishment.

Between the atmosphere and the service I see why this restaurant is one of the most highly recommended in the city. My server was attentive and welcoming to me as this was my first visit, he was also very helpful when navigating the menu and recommending serving size. I was personally very impressed with the cauliflower salad and deviled eggs, they were beautifully plated and well balanced. I thought the pork belly dish could work on texture and wasn’t super impressive given the price. In all Cordelia added to my experience of Cleveland and I’m definitely looking forward to trying the food again, and possibly even trying their endless menu option!

Amazing service, while the food and drinks were simply devine. We sat at the kitchen counter and had a great view of the customers coming in and the high wire act watching the cooking staff

Cordelia is one of a kind. Whether you're going on a date, dining alone, celebrating a birthday, or just happen to be passing by, every time you visit the food and staff will make you feel special. They source as much as they can from local/ohio businesses and are always changing the menu with what's in season (but always having some staples). Almost 3 years of being open and they still come up with new and creative ways to enjoy the seasonal produce. I highly recommend Bellie Up their tasting menu when you can't decide what to get! Even if there are certain ingredients/things you don't like, they are still accommodating. If you don't do bellie up, get all the things that are seasonal produce, and THE BURGER. Our favorite smash burger ever!!! The staff is equally incredible as the food. Head chef Vinnie is always so welcoming and really cares so much about whats going on each plate, and his leadership in the kitchen really gives a space for these chefs to learn and grow(from an outsider perspective), and we can't say enough good things about what he's come up with for the menu! Andrew the owner is there all the time and created a space where it is obvious the staff and chefs love being there, really making them all feel like family. When we got engaged I reached out to him to have some of our photos taken there and he could not have been more excited for us to use his space, and that really meant a lot to us! Between Vinnie and Andrew, their passion for Midwest hospitality and great food really shines, and keeps us coming back. Jeff and Amanda the co-GMs are amazing and always welcoming as well. I recently hosted a surprise birthday dinner for my dad and they took the time to print special menus for us with a happy birthday message, and kept in touch leading up to make sure everything would go smoothly (it did, and exceeded expectations). So go there, eat brunch or dinner or pop in for a snack tray and some drinks. Host a party or event there. Cordelia is a true gem in the city, and you'll always feel a part of their family whether it's your first time in or your 29th.

I highly recommend doing the tasting menu for dinner while sitting at the kitchen bar top if you consider yourself a foodie in any way. Nothing but compliments across the board for this lovely wait staff, kitchen staff and everyone who helps make this place what it is.

My wife and I had dinner reservations here a couple weeks ago, but the food and experience was so memorable I just had to come back and leave a review! We tried four drinks, two appetizers, a side, and two main courses. Every single thing we tried we absolutely loved. Our waitress (can't remember her name, think it might've been Emily?) was amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and offered amazing suggestions. We had the slivovitz spritz, for elyse, saz-who, abyss, farmers cheese, smoked fish dip, jojos, burger box, and fried chicken. All of it was out of the park amazing. We will definitely be back to try more of this amazing menu. Couldn't recommend enough! If I could give 100 stars, I would.

This place is amazing from host, server, and bartender, from drinks, appetizers, salad, main dish to desserts. Everything is definitely a happy experience. Every single dish has its own unique favors, very creative, love it!!! I was gonna just stay with water but sitting at the bar looking at the talented bartender making other’s people’s drink just make me really want a drink. Got the Beet me up, Scotty, a drink that just right, like it described, it’s aromatic and earthy. Started with crispy chicken skin as appetizer, it’s freshly fried, not oily at all, crisp just right. Next got the celery salad, it’s a burst of flavor with a little spicy flavor and the salted ricotta reminded me of ricotta salata but it’s so good thinly sliced. Then I tried the burger box which every one review about it, I was tossed between the burger box and the corned lamb but I figure I’ll try the burger box this time. No doubt, another yummy in my tummy dish. So good I have to bring the rest home to enjoy later. I mean I want to make room for dessert lol... at last I have to try the butterscotch pudding, it’s soooo good if you like butterscotch, that custard with espresso cream, so light yet very satisfied combination. Definitely will return next time I’m in town. I was lucky to get a sit at the bar since I got there before 6 pm, but the place got filled up quick even on a Thursday night. Reservations recommended if you have more than 1 person.
